CHART was hired to re-design the entire interior and exterior of this dated but unique custom home in Guelph Ontario.
It was a pleasure to be a part of this experience as our client grew up in this house. He was looking to design and renovate so he and his wife can enjoy the home in their own way, with their own finishes and personal style. CHART completed custom home renovation in two phases:
- Phase #1 was to remove load bearing walls on the second floor to incorporate a larger master bedroom, master bedroom and update the other bedroom and bathroom.
- Phase #2 was to freshen up the basement with a new bathroom, bedroom, living area and fitness room.
- Phase #3 was the most extensive renovation where CHART provided three dimensional designs for their clients exterior and interior designs for the main floor.
The client also wanted the exterior to have great curb appeal so we incorporated new stone veneer and stucco (E.I.F.S.). New vinyl windows and exterior doors were installed in the house to add extra curb appeal, and of course, increase the energy efficiency of the house. The existing aluminum fascia, eavestrough, soffit and downspouts were also replaced to match new materials.
